At the root of many intellectual property assets is information. Given technological advances, information has become increasingly valuable for business organizations. Practical considerations include both the appropriate protection and disclosure of information. During our relationships with clients as their strategic IP counsel, we have had the opportunity to guide clients through significant and various interactions with regulators, competitors or consumers including for example, access-to-information requests, data protection agreements and privacy policies.
