University of Ottawa students win the 2017 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot

Ridout & Maybee LLP would like to congratulate the University of Ottawa IP Moot team for once again winning the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot!

A team of five students from the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Law, Technology and Society included student captain Jeremy Baarbé, as well as students Laurent Paulin, Brandon Carter, Adam Soliman, and Jenny Thistle.

The University of Ottawa team also won in the following categories:

  • Best Appellant Factum (Gordon F. Henderson prize)
  • Best Moot Team (Harold G. Fox Cup Award)
  • Highest Ranked Appellate Team: Laurent Pulin and Brandon Carter
