We are currently recruiting for a Patent Lawyer or Patent Agent to join our High Tech practice group in Toronto.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical or computer engineering, computer science or a related field. Qualification as a lawyer is an asset but not required.

The position will involve working with leading innovators in the emerging areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data, fintech, blockchain and cryptography, augmented reality and virtual reality, autonomous vehicles, wearables and digital media. As a member of our High Tech practice group, you will get the opportunity to meet with innovators, advise on intellectual property strategies, prepare and prosecute patent applications, and provide opinions on a variety of IP matters.
