Russell Latham is an associate of Ridout & Maybee LLP in the firm’s Ottawa office.  His practice is directed towards assisting in patent drafting and prosecution with an emphasis on electrical, mechanical and computer related technology.  Russell also assists in trade-mark prosecution and opposition proceedings and the litigation of intellectual property matters.

Before commencing his legal career, Russell worked in software design for a variety of Canadian and American businesses in the fields of automated transit systems, computer and video games, e-commerce, enterprise database systems and photographic film development.
