Kim Brulé is a partner of Ridout & Maybee LLP in the firm’s Toronto office. Her practice covers all areas of trade-marks including registrability and availability opinions, prosecution of applications for registration, as well as opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Registrar of Trade-marks.
Kim received the IPIC Educational Foundation Prize for highest standing in the Trade-mark Agent Examinations during her qualifying year, and has since coached candidates for the Examinations through to qualification. In 2000, she was appointed by IPIC to review and critique the Canadian Trade-marks Office Examiner training program, and has been a lecturer with the McGill University Continuing Education Trade-marks Course since 1998.
Kim is currently Chair of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada's (IPIC) Trade-mark Agents Online Training Committee.
