Marcus Gallie's practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, primarily in the mechanical and electromechanical fields, as well as trade-marks, industrial designs, and litigation.

Marcus Gallie's practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, primarily in the mechanical and electromechanical fields, as well as trade-marks, industrial designs, and litigation.

He has acted as counsel for clients in trade-mark opposition and cancellation proceedings, and related appeals to the Federal Court of Canada (Trial and Appeal Division). He has also acted as counsel for clients on trade-mark and patent infringement actions before the Federal Court Trial Division.

He is a frequent speaker on intellectual property topics at various conferences and meetings ranging from business method patents, to non-traditional trade-marks, to law firm management.
