Ken Hanna is a partner of Ridout & Maybee LLP in the firm’s Toronto office. His practice is principally directed towards intellectual property litigation and has a substantial practice in the high tech patent arena.
Ken has acted for various clients around the world and has been requested to act as a barrister on third party actions, as well as to assist local counsel on various IP matters including acting as the Independent Supervising Solicitor on counterfeit merchandising matters.
Ken’s professional practice extends beyond traditional strategies of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights to include assisting the firm’s clients with business venture development, planning and actualization.
Ken has appeared as counsel in various patent, trade-mark and copyright litigation matters and has appeared before the Federal Court Trial and Appeal Divisions, as well as the Superior Court of Justice.
